The Sandman: Act II really didn't hit the mark for me. It felt random and disjointed, rather than \"a book\".
Lone Rider, by Elspeh Beard, is a fantastic read that I thoroughly enjoyed. What an incredibly brave woman.
The Sandman is an audiobook. Problem is, I can't work out if it was genius, or just plain weird. Either way, I really enjoyed it.
The first book in the Banks' Culture series, Consider Phlebas, was incredibly enjoyable. I'm looking forward to reading the others.
