When I read Act II, I ended my post by saying:

I think I'm done with The Sandman at this point; I can't see myself wasting Audible credits on the rest of the series.

But I didn't. I ended up wasting another credit on Act III and I regret it. The stories felt even more disjointed than in book 2, very little made sense to me, and (⚠️ SPOILERS AHEAD ⚠️) the last chapter ends with a weird funeral for one of the 6 siblings.

At least, I think it's one of the six. They're carrying a casket, but it doesn't say who's in it. Is it Dream? Destruction? I have no fucking clue. I've never been one for comic books. I've always struggled with the effort involved in tracking the often convoluted, intertwined storylines, that seem to require background knowledge of other comic book series.

I don't know if that was the case here, but I didn't understand what happened at the of (or during for that matter) this book. I 100% will not be wasting any more Audible credits on this series, should they release more.

Only reason I've given this book 2 stars, instead of 1, is that some of the short stories within were pretty good, but I still don't get how they related to The Sandman. 🤷‍♂️

I entered "0" for the pages field above. Because it's an audiobook, it doesn't have pages. It's 11 hours and 31 minutes long though.
