How Do You Take Notes?
I need a better way of organising my notes, to-dos and tasks. I have crap all over the place at the moment, so if you have a system, I'd love to know what it is.
A Month of Running
I haven’t run regularly in over 10 years. I’ve tried multiple times to get back into it, but it’s always fizzled out. This time feels different.

I use OneNote in work. It's shit, but it's all I have. I need a better way of managing my notes and particularly my to do list. The latter is really the most important. Ideally it has an option to set "next action" so I know what's due on any given day.
I can't install anything on my work laptop, so I intend to run it on my personal Ubuntu machine, for both work and home.
Any recommendations?

I Don't See the Point of Smartwatches
Yes, I love traditional watches. Guilty as charged. But even if I didn’t, I’d still think smartwatches are one of the dumbest tech trends out there.
Sitting here staring at this screen trying to decide whether I should cancel the redirect on my #fosstodon account...
Upped the distance on my runs today from 2.5km to 3.25km. Did it in 19:05, which would equate to a 29 min 5km. Happy with that.
Although temping, I'm not gonna go further than that for a few more weeks. 🏃🏼♂️💨

A New Lick of Paint
So I've been playing around with a new design for this site for a couple of weeks now, and it's finally to the point where I think it's good to go live.
My Sony buds have finally bit the dust after repairing them last year.
I took the Pixel Bud A's out of the cupboard that I got free with my 9a. Garbage. No ANC and v.poor sound quality.
Looks like I'm on the hunt for a new pair of buds. 🙁

So I've gone down this giant rabbit hole of redesigning my site the last couple of weeks and I think I have an idea of what the next version of this site is gonna look like...
I know some people find this stuff boring, but I'm having a blast.
...and now I'm playing around with similar designs to this site circa 2020, and I have to say, I really like it. 😵💫
Just been for my 3rd run of the week and managed to knock another 35 seconds off my time. 🏃🏼♂️💨

I've just been tweaking the design history page and realised that I've had the current design (pretty much) for 3 years now. No wonder I'm getting itchy feet.
I am so tempted to re-design my site to something like this. Someone please step in and tell me it's a bad idea. 😂
We've been having some groundwork done to flatten a section at the top of the garden. Living in the Welsh hills means no flat land.
44 tonnes of soil later, we have a flat space. Just need to seed it with grass now...
I hope nothing comes the other way. 🫣
