Kids are at their Nan’s and we went to CostCo yesterday. That means we end up having shit like this for breakfast. 😂

Wife and I went to a spa today. I had a facial treatment (my first ever). The conversation with the therapist (is that what they’re called?) went something like this…

Her: what’s your daily skincare routine?

Me: mmmm, I wash it?

Her: Okay. What type of skin do you have?

Me: Wrinkly? 🤷‍♂️

I don’t think I was her target demographic. 😂

Morning walks in the field with the dogs are my favourite time of day. All I can hear is sheep bleating, chickens crowing and birds chirping. It’s the best.

I've just been upgraded to #Windows11 on my work machine, only to find that there's no longer an option to move the taskbar to the top. What the fuck is that all about??

Spent today re-laying part of the drive, but I ran out of gravel. Apparently 4 tonnes wasn’t enough. 🤦‍♂️

Another tonne is coming Wed, so I’ll finish it then.

My wife sent me this picture yesterday. Growing your own food is pretty fucking cool. 🥕 🫛 🥚

Chores are pretty much done for the day. I was gonna go out on one of the motorbikes as it's a beautiful hot Sunday, but that means all the Power Rangers will be out. So instead, I'm gonna pour myself a beer, grab my #Kindle and sit under the apple tree to read.

I've been craving a pint of #Guinness the last few days. I have some in the fridge.

It isn't appropriate to drink a Guinness at 09:05 in the morning, on a Friday, while you're working from home, right? RIGHT?!

Why is #Apple #Music so fucking shit? I have a "smart" playlist that automatically downloads my playlist to my device, yet it still requires an internet connection to play the songs.

That's not to mention the random times it just decides not to play a song at all.

I just went for my first run in like 2 years. I didn’t die, and my knee seems to have held up well. We’ll see what’s sore tomorrow morning… 😂

I nipped out on one of the bikes earlier for coffee with friends. I just finished mowing one of the fields, and the paths in the other field. Now I'm cleaning my fish tank out and listening to a 90's "smash hits" playlist.

I have zero regrets for listening to such a playlist. This is what Sundays were made for. ❤️

There's me, resizing and reformatting all my images like some kind of caveman, when all it needed was 4 lines of code in a @getkirby blueprint to automate the whole thing. 🤦‍♂️

As a "senior leader" I make decisions all day, every day. That's my job. But do you know what my hardest daily decision is?

It's whether or not to go for a piss before I go to sleep. Do I get out of my nice warm bed now and do my "final wee", or do I stay comfy and run the gauntlet of potentially needing a piss in the night?

I ran the gauntlet last night, folks, and now I'm tired thanks to -- you guessed it -- needing a piss around 3am. 😂

Getting old is shit.
